$500,000 cash bond set in assault arrest 

CAMDEN COUNTY – A disturbance at a residence on Bittersweet Road has landed a man in jail facing numerous charges including domestic assault.

Last Tuesday at approximately 1:00 a.m., deputies from the Camden County Sheriff's Department (CCSD) responded to a call for an alleged domestic assault at a residence on Bittersweet Road.

According to the CCSD, when deputies arrived at the location, the suspect, Kaleb J. Kubalek, 25, of Linn Creek, MO, fled the scene by jumping off a second story balcony.

The victim, who is pregnant, had sustained minor injuries as a result of multiple bite wounds and being struck in the face, the CCSD said.

Kubalek was located at a nearby convenience store where he was taken into custody.

He has been charged with the following:

Count 1: Class D Felony of Domestic Assault 2nd Degree
Count 2: Committing Class D Felony Stealing
Count 3: Class E Felony of Resisting Arrest
Count 4: Class B Misdemeanor of Peace Disturbance

Kubalek is being held on a $500,000 cash only bond.
