OBFPD receives 247 calls for the month of April

OSAGE BEACH - During April, 2025, the Osage Beach Fire Protection District (OBFPD) responded to 247 incidents. The breakdown for the 247 incidents is as follows:

Incidents Per Zone:
Zone 1 (East Side of City Limits): 83
Zone 2 (West Side of City Limits): 96
Zone 3 (Linn Creek Area/Y Road): 37
Zone 4 (Highway 42/D Road): 24
Out of Area: 7

For the incidents of April, 2025 this averages 8.2 calls per day. OBFPD covers 105 square miles out of two manned fire stations 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

The average response time in April was six minutes 30 seconds. There were a total of 33 occurrences of overlapping incidents meaning more than one incident was happening at the same time period.

During this same time period in 2024, OBFPD responded to 169 incidents for the month of April and 749 incidents for the year of 2024.

Currently in 2025, OBFPD has responded to 922 incidents. Compared to 2024 from January, 1 – April 30 they are 173 calls for service higher than the previous year.
