Two separate burglary arrests land six people in jail
CAMDEN COUNTY – Six people have found themselves in jail after two recent
arrests in relation to two separate burglaries.
In the first one, on November 30 the Camden County Sheriff's Department (CCSD)
was notified of a burglary that had taken placed at a residence off of Wolf Pen
Hollow in Camdenton.
During the investigation, the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group was called
in to assist the CCSD.
Two search warrants were obtained and executed at the suspect’s residences
located in Camdenton and in Macks Creek.
As a result of the search warrants the CCSD claimed antique furniture and other
household items were recovered.
Additionally, a road sign that was allegedly stolen and suspected drug
paraphernalia were seized, the CCSD said.
Two white males and one white female are in custody and are currently being
housed at the Camden County Jail.
Patricia Bertelsmeyer, 41, of Camdenton, MO, was charged with Burglary - 2nd
Degree and Stealing - $750 Or More. She posted a $20,000 Surety Bond on December
3 but was also being held for a Probation/Parole violation.
Blake Larson, 22, of Macks Creek, MO, was charged with Burglary - 2nd Degree and
Stealing - $750 Or More with a $500 cash bond or $5,000 Surety Bond. He posted
the cash bond on December 3.
He was also scheduled to attend a probation hearing. He had been found guilty in
October of this year with Delivery Of Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams Or
Less Of Marijuana Or Synthetic Cannabinoid. He was given five years of
supervised probation.
Robert Larson, 43, also of Camdenton, MO, was charged with Burglary - 2nd Degree
and Stealing - $750 Or More with a cash bond of $3,000 or Surety Bond of
$30,000. The Surety Bond was posted on December 3.
He was also facing a hearing for violating probation. He was placed on probation
in November of 2016 for Possession Of Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams Or
Less Of Marijuana.
In the second incident, on Sunday September 2, at approximately 10:54 a.m., CCSD
deputies were sent to a reported burglary on Nielsen Woods Drive.
A neighbor to the victim claimed to have seen three subjects putting his
neighbor’s property into their vehicle, a white Toyota Camry.
According to the CCSD, the vehicle was eventually located by the Sunrise Beach
Police, however, when the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver
failed to yield and began traveling at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle was eventually stopped off North 7 in the area of Greens Ford Road.
The driver thought she had the vehicle in park, however it was actually in
reverse and struck the Sunrise Beach Police officer’s vehicle, police said.
The following three people, all from Climax Springs, MO, were arrested:
Jennifer L. Young, 32, has been charged with:
• Burglary - 2nd Degree
• Stealing - $750 Or More
• Assault - 4th Degree - Pursuant To Subdivisions (3), (6) - Special Victims
She was being held on a bond of $7,500 cash or $75,000 surety.
Sarah L. Seabolt, 37, has been charged with the following:
• Burglary - 2nd Degree
• Stealing - $750 Or More
• Resisting Arrest/Detention/Stop By Fleeing - Creating A Substantial Risk Of
Serious Injury/Death To Any Person
She was given a bond of $7,500 cash or $75,000 surety.
Juan Moran Ochoa Jr, 37, has been charged with Burglary - 2nd Degree and
Stealing - $750 Or More with a bond of $7,500 cash or $75,000 surety.
