Chamber seeks award nominees

LAKE OF THE OZARKS - Do you know a business, organization, or individual that goes above and beyond to contribute to the community? Then consider recognizing their efforts by nominating them for one of the Lake Area Chamber of Commerceís 2018 Chamber Awards.

The Lake Area Chamber will recognize individuals, businesses, and organizations in five categories: Distinguished Citizen of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, and Non-Profit of the Year.

Nominees for the Small Business, Large Business, and Non-Profit categories must be a Lake Area Chamber member in good standing.

Nominees for the Young Professional of the Year must be part of the Lake Area Chamberís Young Professionals at the Lake and must represent a Lake Area Chamber member business in good standing.

Nominees in the Distinguished Citizen category must live or work in the lake area and show commitment and outstanding service to the community through the contribution of ideas and initiation and completion of projects for the betterment of the community.

The winners of the 2018 Chamber Awards will be recognized during the Lake Area Chamber Annual Fall Dinner on Thursday, October 25, at the Lodge of Four Seasons.

All nominations must be submitted no later than Friday, September 14.
