Woman charged in shooting 

MILLER COUNTY - A Marthasville woman has been arrested in a shooting incident last week in Eldon.

On Sunday, August 5, deputies from the Miller County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) were dispatched to 315 VFW Road outside of Eldon for a report of a subject with a gunshot wound.

Upon arrival, deputies located a victim with a gunshot wound to her left leg.

The victim was flown by Staff for Life to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia for treatment of gunshot injuries.

The suspect was identified as Katheryn Neu, 60 of Marthasville, Missouri.

During the investigation, investigators learned that the shooting occurred over a landlord tenant dispute, the MCSD said.

Neu was arrested and has been charged with the following charges:

• Assault 1st Degree Or Attempt - Serious Physical Injury Or Special Victim (Felony)
• Armed Criminal Action (Felony)
• Resisting/Interfering With Arrest For A Felony

She was being held in the Miller County Jail in lieu of a $200,000 bond.
