CVB announces 2023 bikefest winners

LAKE OF THE OZARKS – It took about a month-and-a-half but the results of the 2023 Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest have been released by the Lake of the Ozarks Convention & Visitor Bureau.

Bikefest was held on September 13–17 with thousands of motorcycles descending on the lake area.

The Passport Program had the highest participation it has ever had with 1,111 people participating.

Riders purchased a $25 passport and then rode to 20 separate locations where they received a stamp on their passport. They then turned in the completed passport at the Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson Dealership for a drawing that was held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 17.

New this year was three bike giveaways for the passport program.

The lucky winner, Jessica Clark from Iowa won the 2023 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail 120th Anniversary Edition Motorcycle.

Christy Admire from Eldon won the 300 CF Moto Sport Bike and Dan Buchman from Iowa won the 300 CF Moto Naked Bike.

Proceeds from the Passport Program are used to promote the event, with a portion of the proceeds being allocated to benefit the efforts of the local chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association, Fishers of Men, for their participation in executing the Passport Program.

The event hosted four vendor village areas, one at Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson, one at Camden on the Lake Resort, one at The Hangout at Lake Breeze Resort and the final one at The Resort at Lake of the Ozarks.

New this year was a Stunt Show that had events at local schools and on the Bagnell Dam Strip throughout Bikefest week.

Also, new was the Cycle Showcase held at The Resort at Lake of the Ozarks which featured custom bikes on display for bikers to view.

Buffalo Chip made an appearance at Bikefest this year with a Custom Series Bike Show held at Papa Chubby’s where over 1,000 bikes entered to win.
