Wanted man charged with more drug violations


CAMDEN COUNTY – Last week the Camden County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) issued a press release regarding and incident that took place on October 22.

On that day CCSO deputies located a vehicle driven by a subject who the officers knew had several warrants on various Camden County charges.

According to the CCSO, when deputies attempted to make a traffic stop the vehicle failed to yield. Deputies were eventually able to get the vehicle stopped and placed both the driver and passenger under arrest for active warrants.

The CCSO said a search of the vehicle located drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine. Suspected methamphetamine was also located on the person of the female passenger.

Both individuals were transported to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

Codie D Dudley, 33, of Camdenton, MO, was arrested on active warrants for Fail to Appear on Possession of Control Substance, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Drug Paraphernalia, and Felony Domestic Assault with no bond.

As a result of the incident, he was also charged with two counts of Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving while Intoxicated.

Melissa Crowell, 35, of Columbia, MO, was charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and given a $100,000 Cash or Surety bond.

Both individuals remain at the Camden County Correctional Facility pending court.

The CCSO reminds everyone that these charges are merely an accusation and these individuals remain innocent until proven guilty.
