Man injured in rollover accident


LAKE OF THE OZARKS – A Lebanon man was injured last week in a rollover accident in Camden County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) on Wednesday, November 20 at 8:20 p.m. on Route JJ north of Rail Drive, a 2002 Saturn VUE, driven by Austin French, 19, of Lebanon, MO, was southbound when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road, overturned and struck an embankment.

French was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries. He was wearing a safety device. The vehicle was listed and totaled.

Earlier that same day in Miller County, a woman received moderate injuries after a collision with a Kenworth.

According to the MSHP, at 12:17 p.m. on Route 52, a 2009 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Donna Englemeyer, 54, of St, Elizabeth, MO, was eastbound when it traveled through the intersection of Route 17 and Route 52.

The vehicle then struck a 2014 Kenworth, driven by David Burnside, 42, of Crocker, MO, who was westbound.

Englemeyer received moderate injuries and was transported to Capitol Region Hospital in Jefferson City. Both drivers were wearing a safety device. The impala received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

The Kenworth received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On Monday November 18 a Sunrise Beach man escaped with minor injuries in a collision with a Peterbilt dump truck.

At 12:11 p.m. in Miller County on Highway 54 near Lakeland, the MSHP said a 1990 Honda Civic, driven by Quintin Ives, 39, of Sunrise Beach, MO, and a 1991 Peterbilt dump truck, driven by Eric Dial, 29, of Eldon, MO, were both eastbound when the Honda ran into the back of the dump truck.

Ives received minor injuries and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital. Both drivers were wearing a safety device.

The Honda was totaled while the dump truck sustained minor damage.
