Four busted in drug warrants

 

CAMDEN COUNTY – A pair of search warrants landed four people in jail last week in two separate drug busts.

The arrests were made by The Camden County Street Crimes Unit and Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group.

The first warrant was served in the 600 block of Oval Road in Climax Springs.

According to police, during the investigation, Marie Ducharme, 26, of Climax Springs, attempted to flee on foot and after a short pursuit was taken into custody.

Also taken into custody at the scene was Lance Long, 46, of Climax Springs.

Both subjects were transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility and are currently being held on the following charges:

Ducharme was charged with a Class B Felony of distribute/deliver/manufacture/produce a controlled substance. Bond set at $1,500 cash or $15,000 surety.

Long is being held on a probation violation warrant with no bond allowed.

The next day saw another drug bust, this time in the 200 block of Bear Ridge Road.

Kenneth Jones, 26, of Camdenton and Koaleen Jones, 28, also of Camdenton were taken into custody.

Both were charged with a Class C Felony of possession of controlled substance and two counts Class A Misdemeanor of endangering the welfare of a child, second degree.

Kenneth’s bond is set at $1,500 cash or $12,000 surety.

Koaleen’s bond is set at $750 cash or $6,000 surety.

Both subjects were transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility.
