Filing for elected offices begins Feb. 27
CAMDEN COUNTY – Filing for county and state offices up for election this year begins on Tuesday February 27.
This year candidates will battle it out for the possibility of occupying any of eight county offices.
Those offices are:
• Associate Circuit Judge Circuit No. 26, Division 4
• Presiding Commissioner of the County Commission
• County Clerk
• Clerk of the Circuit Court
• Recorder of Deeds
• Prosecuting Attorney
• County Auditor
• Collector of Revenue
Hopeful candidates can file for their respective office beginning February 27 at 8 a.m. and have till March 27 at 5 p.m. to file.
Declaration of candidacy may be filed for the following political offices who are to be elected at the Primary Election.
• Township Committeemen
• Township Committeewomen
Those wishing to file for any of the above offices can file in the office of Rowland A. Todd, Camden County Clerk, 1 Court Circle N.W. Ste. 2, Camdenton, MO.
On the state level, county candidates can file for the following offices:
• U.S. Senator
• State Auditor
• U.S. Representative Districts 3 & 4
• State Senator Sixteenth District
• State Representative Districts 123& 124
• Circuit Judge Circuit No. 26, Division 1
Those wishing to file for any of the above offices can file in the office of John R. Ashcroft, Missouri Secretary of State, in the James C. Kirkpatrick State Information Center at 600 West Main Street in Jefferson City, MO.
A primary will be held in August of 2018 with a general election in November.
