Juveniles arrested for alleged robbery
CAMDENTON – Three juveniles have been arrested after an alleged robbery last week.
On Monday, September 23 at approximately 4:59 p.m. city police officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Fourth Street.
Upon arrival officers observed a black Ford Edge SUV sitting partially off the roadway at Fourth and Hazel Street.
Police met with a 29-year-old male from Camdenton who was sitting on the side of the road and was identified as the driver of the crashed vehicle.
Officers observed that he appeared very distressed and had an abrasion over his eye.
While talking with the male further, he claimed that he had been robbed in a nearby parking lot, the Camdenton Police Department (CPD) said.
Further investigation led to the identification and arrest of three juvenile males from the lake area.
All three subjects were being detained at the Camden County Juvenile Justice Detention Center with Juvenile Referrals for Robbery.
The CPD stated that this is an active investigation and further updates should be released when available.
